I am Luca, and together with my father Giustino, I carry forward with enthusiasm and love for viticulture the historic family legacy of Prosecco production from the “Strada del Valdobbiadene Conegliano.”
Our vineyards are set in a typical setting of the Treviso Prealps, where the gentle hills precede the higher peaks and benefit from a temperate and humid climate that allows for ideal ripening of our Prosecco grapes.

THE TERRITORY

Naturally, the fame of our Veneto region is closely intertwined with the allure of Prosecco among wine lovers around the world, a cultivation that dates back to Roman times. However, it offers visitors much more, both in terms of cultural vibrancy with the “Primavera del Prosecco Superiore,” a festival celebrating the new vintage of Prosecco with tastings, vineyard tours, and cultural events, and from a historical perspective. A must-see, just a few kilometers from Valdobbiadene, is Villa Barbaro (Villa di Maser), designed by Andrea Palladio, which is one of the masterpieces of Renaissance architecture. It is renowned for its frescoes by Paolo Veronese and its gardens. The villa is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

LOCAL CUISINE

Not only in the winter months but throughout the year, we prepare “Almond and Prosecco Cake” in our family kitchens. The cake requires a simple yet precise preparation in several steps. First, a cream of butter and sugar is made, to which the eggs are gradually added. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, flour, toasted and chopped almonds, and baking powder are mixed. Once everything is combined and homogeneous, the mixtures are joined together into a single batter. At this point, the perfect combination of Prosecco and lemon zest is added to the batter, and it is then placed in the oven for baking. The final touch, before serving, is a light dusting of powdered sugar. We usually serve it at the end of a meal, but it is also perfect as an afternoon snack accompanied by our fine wines.
