Our company is located on the gentle hills of Lake Trasimeno at 300 meters above sea level. The Bittarelli family has been living and working in these lands since 1940, first as farmers and since 1970 as owners. Thus, the Bittarelli Family Farm was born, covering about 30 hectares and using organic farming and crop rotation methods to achieve a quality harvest. Since 2003, in addition to cultivating lentils, cannellini beans, and borlotti beans, we have started the production of small national chickpeas, spelt, barley, chickpeas, and Fagiolina del Trasimeno, an ancient legume that has found in these places the ideal climate and soil to become a unique and high-quality product, protected by the Fagiolina del Trasimeno Consortium.
